Watch and phone integration

Watch data and phone logs meet in one record the doctor can review.

The current trial watch is the Xiaomi Watch 2. Readings pass through the Ruby Mobile Health App to RubyHealth cloud. Families can also log from the phone with no watch. Other wearables can be added as they are tested.

How the Xiaomi watch fits the workflow.

Children can wear a Xiaomi Watch 2 to track sleep, heart rate, and steps. This model does not provide HRV. The companion on the watch talks to the Ruby Mobile Health App on the parent’s phone.

Parents add typed notes or voice-to-text for behaviour, symptoms, diet, medication, and daily observations — including when no watch is paired.

From device to doctor.

Wearable signals are most useful with real-life context. RubyHealth connects watch readings with journal entries and clinician-facing summaries, and keeps confidential messaging between the doctor and their patients in the same application.

Doctors review assigned patients only. Clients see only their linked doctor or doctors.
